The hotel was first opened in the year 1996.  The hotel has obtained its name from the French word “mahogany” because it has been constructed with woods that were cultivated by taking into consideration its impact on the environment.  In 2014 the hotel was renovated so as to include modern technology as well as part of the hotel.  The landscape consists of fruits and vegetables and spice plants that are grown on the hotel site

The Acajou Beach Resort comprises of 14 room hotels which have a warm Seychellois touch.  These rooms are located on the ground floor and they each consist of a veranda.  The resort is built in such a way so as to make the guests feel the comfortable and the guests are warmly welcome.  In terms of security and comfort, all the necessary arrangements are made so as the guests enjoy their vacation on the Seychelles.

The restaurants at Acajou Beach Resort

Acajou’s Starfish Bar & Restaurant is open every day from 10hr to 18hr.  The restaurant provides traditional Creole dishes such as fresh grilled fish, octopus curry with coconut milk and also salads and sandwiches.  The bar also provides cocktails made with fresh fruits, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.

Acajou has also another restaurant that serves full American buffet breakfast every morning and dinner services in the evening.  The restaurant is named Les Boucaniers and offers an intimate dining atmosphere.  It is opened for breakfast daily from 07 30 to 10 00 and for dinner from 19 30 to 21 30.  The restaurant does not provide lunch services.

The hotel also hosts a bar named Chapo! Bar and Lounge.  It is the ideal place for an evening meeting so that the guests can share a drink and chitchat with an aperitif before moving to have diner in the main restaurant.  The bar also hosts live music very often.

Apart from restaurants, the Resort also offers amazing beachfront location to its guests.  Sun loungers, umbrellas and towel service are provided as well.  Guests can also enjoy a cocktail at the spot they are by our bar staffs.

Facilities at the Resort

The Resort also features an air-conditioned gym that offers a variety of exercises and equipment to the guests.  The gym is open from 7am to 11pm.  Furthermore, after a hard training at the gym, the guests can opt for a relaxing massage from our experienced therapists.

There is also a Souvenir Boutique at the resort that offers a wide variety of unique gifts and souvenirs as well as items such as hats and t-shirts.  The boutique is open from 7am till 11pm.

Activities and Entertainments
